Before your interview
We focus on your work, experience and perspective on crypto. Ahead of recording, share:
- Your preferred name, role, a short biography and relevant project or work links.
- A recent portrait you have permission to use, plus pronunciation notes if helpful.
- The topics you would like to discuss and any material you intend to show on camera.
- Relevant financial interests, commercial relationships or conflicts of interest.
- Your availability, time zone and any access or communication needs.
Agree the discussion outline and any boundaries with the interviewer in advance. Avoid sharing confidential or third-party material without permission.
The recording
The interview is a one-to-one video conversation lasting 30–45 minutes. You join through Microsoft Teams; your invitation contains the meeting link and confirmed time zone.
- Allow another 10 minutes before the interview for a camera and microphone check.
- Use a stable internet connection and a quiet space with notifications silenced.
- Place your camera at eye level, with light facing you and a simple background.
- Use headphones and a clear microphone. Test your camera and audio in Teams beforehand.
- If you need a break, a question repeated or time to correct a factual point, tell the interviewer.
Recording permission and the royalty terms are confirmed in a written guest agreement before the session. Consent is confirmed again when recording starts. Tell the interviewer before sharing any information that must remain off the record.
Publication & review
The interview is published on this website, the official Viewsroom X account and the official channels where Viewsroom distributes its episodes. Video is used where supported; audio editions may be used on audio-only services. The release date is agreed separately.
Visit the official Viewsroom X accountCheck the facts before release
Before first publication, you receive the edited interview for a factual review. You have three business days after receiving it to flag factual errors, incorrect names or material previously agreed as confidential. If you do not respond within that window, publication may proceed. Viewsroom retains editorial control over the interview and its presentation.
Payment & royalties
of the gross revenue earned by your individual episode.
Your share is 50% of gross revenue directly attributed to your individual episode, including attributable revenue from excerpts. Gross means before production, editing, distribution or platform costs. Revenue from other episodes is excluded. If a payment covers multiple episodes, the allocation method is set out in your written agreement.
For example, if your episode earns $1,000 in gross revenue, your share is $500 before any legally required withholding.
When you are paid
Statements and payments are issued monthly, within 30 days after the end of the month in which the revenue is received. Royalties continue for as long as the episode generates attributable revenue.
Payments are made in USD by bank transfer, unless a different currency or method is agreed in writing. Each statement itemises revenue sources, the episode’s gross revenue, any adjustments and your 50% share. There is no minimum payout threshold. Any legally required withholding is shown separately.
What appears on your statement
Sales taxes collected on behalf of tax authorities are not episode revenue. Refunds or chargebacks are itemised on the next statement and offset against future royalties from your episode. You are not asked to repay royalties already paid. Production and platform costs are not deducted from your share.
What the payment covers
Viewsroom pays the guest through the episode royalty share. Earnings depend on the revenue the episode generates. Any separate appearance fee or advance must be agreed in writing before recording.
Rights, clips & consent
Recording and publication permission
You give Viewsroom permission to record your interview and a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to edit, publish, distribute and keep the full episode and excerpts in its archive. This includes your name, biography, voice and likeness as part of the interview and its promotion.
You retain rights to your pre-existing work and any materials you supply. Viewsroom owns the produced recording and edit. Guest materials may be used only as agreed for the episode and its promotion.
How excerpts can be used
Viewsroom may make excerpts for its website, official social accounts and episode channels. Edits must preserve the meaning and context of your remarks. Permission to promote the interview does not permit unrelated product endorsements or a claim that you endorse a sponsor.
Sharing your episode
You may share the episode link and repost the official promotional clips with a Viewsroom credit and a link to the full episode. Licensing the recording to a third party or making a separate commercial edit requires written agreement.
Changes or cancellation
If you need to cancel or reschedule, notify the team as early as possible. A request to withhold material before first publication is discussed with the editorial team. After publication, correction or removal requests are reviewed individually; there is no automatic takedown right.
